I went back packing with Tricia a few weeks ago into the Trinity Alps. I (unfortunately) had never been packing before and had been itching to go for a while. Thankfully Tricia had been going since before she was 10 and knew exactly what was going on. Talk about an incredible experience. We went during the week so there was barely any people on the trail. We would hike for hours at a time and not see a single soul. It was such a trip to know we were miles and hours away from any bullshit problem back home. It was absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to do it again. Thank you Tricia for being so amazing and taking me on all of these incredible adventures.

Ok, friends. Here’s the deal! After much encouragement from you all to start some sort of crowd funding for my project, I decided to set up a FoodStart. It’ll take up to 24 hours for my listing to actually be listed on the site, however, I do have a link available to my FoodStart page:
You are under absolutely NO obligation to donate! This is just something I’ve wanted to do for a really long time now. For the sake of keeping this post short and sweet, I won’t go into all the details completely - those are all viewable on my FoodStart page.
If you’ve been following me, you know that I’m a vegan pastry chef. I dedicate all of my spare time to creating new dishes, and I believe from the bottom of my heart that I have all the tools to create a successful business. The only thing lacking is the funds. Everything else is outlined and ready to go.
If you’re able, please help pass this message along. Thanks for your time!
*** PS - shout out to the ever so lovely maxvocado for creating my adorable logo! Thank you again!
My (Cupcake Wars winning) friend Amy has had this idea for a while and she’s finally putting it into action, help her out! Vegan food establishments are cool for us vegans because they give us a place to eat when we’re out but also help the animals (and everyone/ everything else negatively effected by animal abuse industries) by showing people that there are alternatives and that reducing suffering in the world is as easy as eating a cupcake. Reach out, join the fight.
Hunter’s eventful second birthday! Love him so much <3
This wedding in Yosemite National Park is hands down a recent favorite. It was done over 3 days (next post shows some day after ceremony fun) with brunches, hiking, grilling, and general exploring throughout—all surrounding what is a gorgeous ceremony and a weekend camping trip with loved ones. Love the circle, and the natural decoration (as in…no decoration cause God kinda took care of it).
